P&O cancels 2020 cruises: Affected customers have pledged credit or cash refunds

The holiday group has extended the suspension of sailings until the beginning of next year due to the corona virus.

The UK’s largest cruise line said the decision was made because of ‘changing travel restrictions’.

All Caribbean cruises will be canceled until the end of January 2021.

Sailings to and from Southampton have been suspended until several dates in February 2021, with the exception of those with the Arcadia and Aurora ships, which had already been canceled until spring.

The company had previously canceled sailings through November 12.

President Paul Ludlow said: “With evolving restrictions on travel from the UK, it is unfortunately necessary to cancel these routes.”

Affected customers will receive a future sailing credit worth 125 percent of the cost of their original voyage. They can also request a cash refund.
